Today I'm Thankful for:
Sesame Street
Emma started watching Sesame Street when she was around two years old. It holds her attention for an hour and gives me a chance to shower and do other necessary things I couldn't otherwise. It also has helped her with her number, letter, and shape skills. She knows abc-123 (to 20) and all of her shapes, but Sesame Street helps reinforce what she has already learned. I love that there is something educational she can watch that she absolutely loves. She knows the names of all the characters and asks to watch it by name. It brings me joy every time she sings along to a song or counts along with the television.
